It's What You Scatter

We recently received an email, which was being passed around, and we were very much touched by the story and the moral it portrays, and we hope you will be too;

I was at the corner grocery store buying some early potatoes... I noticed a small boy, delicate of bone and feature, ragged but clean, hungrily apprising a basket of freshly picked green peas. I paid for my potatoes but was also drawn to the display of fresh green peas. I am a pushover for creamed peas and new potatoes. Pondering the peas, I couldn't help overhearing the conversation between Mr. Miller (the store owner) and the ragged boy next to me.

Coping With The Loss Of A Loved One

Everyone experiences grief and bereavement in their own way, no two experiences are the same. The 'Cycle of Loss' describes the different stages of grief, they include denial, anger, fear and loneliness.

Grief is a normal process, some people move through the process of grief with little effort, but for some they can get stuck at one stage and feel unable to move on. For these people there is a possibility that their grief can turn into depression or feelings of despair.

If you or someone you know of has suffered the loss of someone close recently or even years ago, then The Bereavement Register can reduce the amount of junk mail sent to their address, thus helping to stop upsetting daily reminders.

With Sympathy - Poem

Another very good poem written by Chris Cox  which we hope will be of some comfort to you in your bereavement;

Today, my love, the road seems long
But it will have an end
And after you have drunk the bitter cup
Your heart will start to mend
